The world's largest envelope has been revealed to coincide with the opening of the London 2010 International Stamp Exhibition.
Measuring a colossal 32ft 9 inches by 23ft ½inch the envelope was checked and verified by Tarika Vara, a Guinness World Records adjudicator.

The previous record was held by an envelope in Algeria in 2009, which measured 30ft 3 inches by 21ft 3 inches
The envelope has been constructed by schoolchildren in the assembly hall at Great Malvern primary School, Malvern. It is the first world record for the town.
Shortly after the world record had been confirmed the envelope left the school to be delivered for display at the London 2010 International Stamp Exhibition which opens on Saturday 8th May.
Exactly how do you deliver a 32ft envelope? On a 40ft truck of course.
Rare stamp company Stanley Gibbons had commissioned the envelope, complete with a franking label, in order to promote the London 2010 stamp show.
Gibbons' spokeswoman, Louise Reynolds commented "We wanted to do something big to mark the London 2010 Festival of Stamps - at ten metres by seven metres, they don't come much bigger."
The envelope will be on display at the London stamp exhibition, at the Business Design Centre, Islington, until May 15th.
