A 1902-1904 bright carmine British “IR Official” stamp is set to star in Spink’s sale of the Charles Hamilton collection.
This rare IR Official overprint is in mint condition
The overprint denotes this lot as being for the use of the Inland Revenue department. This is a particularly fine, unused specimen.
It’s expected to make £35,000-40,000 ($45,730-52,263) in the July 25 sale in London.
