A Lady Gaga, stage-worn, black acrylic fingernail has sold for £10,200 ($15,514) at PFC Auctions.
The gavel fell on May 30, with Lady Gaga's fingernail finishing top lot of the sale, and achieving a new auction record for a single fingernail at auction.

The fingernail, which features intricate gold detailing, was recovered from the stage by a crew member following a 2012 performance at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.
The nail was accompanied by a photograph of the pop performer on stage during the event, the fingernail clearly missing from the little finger of her left hand.
Also included in the lot were a crew wristband, crew T shirt, and a letter of provenance written by the consignor, stating: "I noticed an object on the floor of the stage, which at first I thought was a guitar plectrum.
"When I picked it up I saw it was an acrylic nail."
Known as much for her sartorial sensibilities - who could forget that dress made of meat? - as for her music, items worn by Lady Gaga are seriously hot property among collectors.
A lipstick-marked tea cup and saucer that Gaga sipped from during a press conference in Japan auctioned for $75,300 last year, while an outlandish triangular dress brought $31,250 in 2011.
In collecting terms, Lady Gaga rivals Madonna and Kate Middleton in terms of values.

Gaga herself is no stranger to the world of collectible investments: in December 2012, the star purchased 55 items of Michael Jackson memorabilia.
Following the auction, the pop star informed her twitter followers that she intended to archive, and expertly care for the stage-worn clothing she had acquired "in the spirit and love of Michael Jackson".
