The lot includes his signature and details his name, address and personal details - including his age (28) and his eye colour (blue).
By 1944 Sinatra was a superstar. In addition to his numerous radio appearances, he was also entertaining US troops fighting in the second world war (he was exempt from fighting due to a perforated eardrum).
Last year his first driving licence, issued in 1934, sold for $15,757 at RR Auction.
Kurt Cobain's credit card carries an estimate of $7,000-9,000.
It was issued by the Seattle-based Seafirst Bank and displays a strong signature on the reverse strip, along with a series of numbers.
Cobain's status as one of the biggest stars of his generation ensures a strong market for his memorabilia. In 2006, his Mosrite Gospel Mark IV guitar sold for $131,000 at Heritage Auctions.
The sale also includes a Mickey Mouse Club t-shirt signed by Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake and Ryan Gosling, among others.
