Elvis Presley’s iconic white Wm. Knabe & Co. grand piano is being offered on eBay.
The piano was originally installed onstage at the Ellis Auditorium in Memphis, where a young Elvis would sneak in to watch performers like Count Basie and Duke Ellington.
The piano started life in Memphis' Ellis Auditorium
In 1957, when the venue was remodelled, Elvis bought this piano. It stood in his music room at Graceland up until 1968, when he had it replaced.
It remained in storage for a number of years, before eventually being sold on in the mid-70s.
The lot is valued at $1m ahead of the August 20 close date.
Proceeds from the sale will go to the Starkey Hearing Foundation, which provides hearing aids to those who can’t afford them.
We have a remarkable piece of Elvis memorabilia for sale.
