Bidding on a pair of blue suede shoes belonging to rock and roll singer Carl Perkins will start at $2,000 in an online sale at Nate D Sanders.
Perkins is best known for his song Blue Suede Shoes (1955), one of the first rockabilly songs ever recorded, which was later covered by Elvis Presley.
The handmade shoes are made from Italian leather and are sold alongside a letter of provenance from Perkins' son.
The sale will also include an Oscar awarded to art director Joseph C Wright in 1942.
