The lot is accompanied by a letter of provenance from British session musician Dick Cuthell, who explains the lyrics were used during a 1977 recording session in London.
Bob Marley memorabilia rarely comes to auction, as the majority is housed in the Bob Marley Museum in Kingston Jamaica.
He was also buried with his favourite guitar, a red Gibson Les Paul.
A piano used by Abba to write some of their best known songs made $53,000 at the same sale.
