London's Victoria and Albert Museum has announced that it has recently acquired the personal archive of British actress Vivien Leigh.

The archive contains many never before seen records, including letters between the actress and a host of famous names, such as Laurence Olivier, Winston Churchill, Graham Greene and Noel Coward, as well as personal diaries, photographs, visitor books and scripts.
Also featuring are Leigh's numerous awards. The Gone with the Wind actress' items will now be made available to the public for the first time from Autumn 2013, with a lecture on Leigh taking place on November 13.
