The Morris Everett Jr collection of film posters and lobby cards is to highlight several auctions at Profiles in History in the summer of 2015.
The first is due to take place in June. The collection was originally offered as a single lot in December 2014 with a $6m-7m estimate but failed to attract a buyer.

Everett, the owner of the collection, said at the time: "My hope to sell my poster collection to a single collector or institution was not realized today, but due to the tremendous interest we have generated worldwide from collectors who could not afford the whole collection, I have decided to break up my collection in a series of auctions to take place over a period of several years through Profiles in History."
The collection includes around 195,000 pieces from 44,000 movies.
Joe Maddalena, president and CEO of Profiles in History, commented: "It is unfortunate that it was not possible to sell this collection as one lot, but this will now permit many more collectors to possibly own some of the rarest pieces known to be in existence in Cinema history.
"Sold in separate auctions, some of Morris' exceptional and most valuable pieces, such as the 1927 silent movie and science-fiction epic Metropolis lobby card are certain to procure substantial offers.
"There are posters from early Marx Brothers and Charlie Chaplin movies and classics like Gone with the Wind and Casablanca. All of these and many others will do extremely well as highlights in the future planned auctions."
