A ball return and bench that appear onscreen in cult classic The Big Lebowski (1998) are to highlight an auction of entertainment memorabilia at Bonhams in LA on May 4.
It carries an estimate of $14,000-16,000.

The film's bowling alley scenes were shot at Hollywood Star Lanes in Los Angeles, which opened in the 1960s and retains its period fixtures and fittings.
The ball return is marked "19/20", the lane that Jesus Quintata plays on in the film.
The enormous appeal of the film ensures that memorabilia tends to achieve strong results at auction. In March 2013, The Dude's screen worn bathrobe sold for $18,500 - up 302.1% on an estimate of $4,600.
A Givenchy hat worn by Audrey Hepburn will provide another highlight of the sale. It is expected to auction for $10,000-15,000.
The actress wore it in an appearance in American Vogue in 1964 during promotion for the film version of My Fair Lady. Her appearance as Eliza Doolittle is considered one of her most iconic performances.
The magazine includes a brief mention of the hat: "...little Oriental evening fantasies like this - bright jade green velvet with tassels of cut feathers, crystal beads (Miss Hepburn is mad about this one, plans to wear it often for late day and small dinners)."
We have an exciting array of autographs and other movie memorabilia available.
