Victoria Beckham auction to raise money for AIDS charity

Victoria Beckham is to auction a selection of her dresses for AIDS prevention charity mothers2mothers.

The sale will take place through online designer fashion outlet The Outnet between August 20-25.

The sale includes this Antonio Berardi dress from 2008

Beckham met the founder of the charity, along with some of the women involved, while on a recent trip to South Africa with American Vogue editor Anna Wintour.

She commented: "I came back from South Africa and thought, what can I do to help?

"I started going through my closet and found so many great pieces that I've worn and thought, maybe I can raise money by auctioning these off."
