Julien's has finalised the date of its auction of Star Trek film memorabilia. It will take place on June 27 at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.
Until now, the auction's revealed items were all from the successful 2009 reboot of the Star Trek franchise, starring Hollywood newcomer Chris Pine as the young Captain James T Kirk.
However, items from the private collection of Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry's home will also feature.
Among these are treasured handwritten notes by Roddenberry, a model Starship Enterprise from his office and costumes worn by his wife, Majel Barrett, who frequently appeared on the show.

Costumes and weaponry from the franchise will also appear.
Fans will also be excited to know that the original Captain Kirk, the irrepressible William Shatner, will also be appearing at Julien's to offer up some memorabilia of his own.
A custom Harley Davidson motorcycle and a pinball machine inspired by Rescue 911, Shatner's documentary series that aired between 1989-1996, will each go under the hammer.
