The ball Rory McIlroy used in the final round of his Open Championship victory is selling at Green Jacket Auctions, with bidding at $5,053.
The company put out an appeal for the ball on Twitter after he launched it in the direction of the crowd, offering the finder $10,000.

It was caught by Lee Horner, who told ESPN: "When Rory threw the ball, it hit me in the hand and then fell down. There was a kerfuffle, but I managed to get it and hold it in the air and the crowd went crazy."
Ryan Carey, co-founder of the auction house told the sports news site: "We're not aware of any ball from a major championship that has ever been offered to the public before.
"No one collects tournament-used golf balls because it's a category that doesn't really exist."
Bidding ends on August 9.
We have this cap signed by the legendary Jack Nicklaus.
