Actress Rachel Weisz's velvet jacket and model Sophie Dahl's tailored trousers will be among pieces offered at an auction this month to benefit a UK women's charity. One celebrity item of clothing will be selling online each day, including highly covetable designer pieces from high end and luxury brands.

The online charity auction, which begins today (December 21) and will run until December 31, has been set up to support Dress For Success, a charity which aims to help women in receipt of benefit payments and on very low incomes make progress in the workplace.
Pre-loved, designer donations have come from a range of stylish stars, including Davina McCall, Trinny Woodall and Jasmine Guinness.
Shannon Edwards, managing director of second hand fashion store Vestiaire Collective UK, which is partnered with Dress For Success, commented: "Whether you are a celebrity, a Vestiaire Collective community member or a client of Dress for Success, the confidence and self esteem gained from smart clothing is something we are united in understanding."
With 100% of the proceeds going directly to Dress for Success, the auction will benefit women on low incomes from across London.
As Dress For Success explains on its website: "A professional outfit followed by careful interview preparation transforms our clients' self confidence and gives them a far greater chance of succeeding."
