Marilyn Monroe's Judaism conversion certificate to make $70,000?

Marilyn Monroe's signed Judaism conversion certificate will cross the block at Julien's Auctions on December 16.

It's expected to sell for around $50,000-70,000.

Monroe converted to Judaism before her marriage to Arthur Miller

Marilyn converted to Judaism before her marriage to playwright Arthur Miller. The certificate is dated the same day as her wedding, July 1, 1956.

The couple stayed together for five years and divorced in 1961. Marilyn died of an overdose soon afterwards.

Last year a love letter sent from Marilyn to Miller sold for $43,750 at Julien's.
