Lord Lucan’s top hat, cane and champagne bucket will be sold at Holloway’s Auctioneers in Banbury, UK.
Lord Lucan, pictured with his wife, disappeared in 1974 after the murder of his children's nanny
Lucan, a British aristocrat who sensationally disappeared after the murder of his children's nanny in 1974, is still very much in the public consciousness (although he was officially declared dead in 2016).
A couple of years ago a number of signed cheques for debts Lucan racked up while gambling sold for a combined £4,040 ($5,572).
There’s no estimate on the items offered in this upcoming February 13 sale, but they’re likely to each sell for a sum in the high four figures.
