A never-released demo CD hawked by a young singer named Stefani Germanotta around various US record labels will appear in Gotta Have It!'s upcoming October 6-15 auction.
Today, Germanotta is better known to music fans as the highly-eccentric Lady Gaga. But all that was a dream when this CD was made, copyrighted to 2001 on the disc and 2002 on the cover insert.
The demo CD will auction alongside other Lady Gaga items, including a performance DVD from the OSIA Showcase in 2006 at The Cutting Room in New York City and an EP from 2005 released as the Stefani Germanotta Band, titled "Words."
According to reports, all of the Lady Gaga material is being sold by her first manager Bob Leone.
Meanwhile, two slightly more established stars will also be appearing in the Gotta Have It! sale: John Lennon and Paul McCartney.
And it's no ordinary lot, but the earliest known pair of signatures signed by either Beatle, back when they were still known as the Quarrymen.
Both were autographed in a guest book in Liverpool, December 22, 1958. They appear alongside the signature of Cynthia Powell, John's future first wife.
