The appetite for Royal dresses shows no sign of abating.
While here in the office we're still catching our breath from Kate (and Pippa's) stunning display at Westminster Abbey, avid collectors and investors in the US have been fighting over items associated with Princess Diana.
Two dresses once worn by Lady Di sold for a combined $276,000 at Julien's Auctions in Beverly Hills over the weekend.
A black crepe evening gown worn in 1992 made $144,000 while a strapless silk number aired at the Cannes Film Festival in 1987 achieved $132,000, both surpassing their $60,000 estimates.

The Catherine Walker dresses, bought by a museum, had first been auctioned by Princess Diana three months before her death in 1997.
Diana's dresses always excite interest when they appear at auction. The "take the plunge" dress Diana wore just weeks after her engagement to Prince Charles in 1981 achieved $314,000 at auction last year.
Diana's "priceless" bridal dress from 1981 is currently on a global tour.
