A shawl used to identify Jack the Ripper is up for sale at Moments in Time with a price of $4.7m, reports the New York Post.
The piece marked out Polish immigrant Aaron Kosminski as the brutal killer that stalked the streets of Victorian London.
It was discovered at the scene of one of the murders in 1888 and kept by one of the detectives that worked on the case. Recent testing identified matched DNA found on the shawl to one of Kosminski's living relatives.
The findings have been contested by some.
