A rare set of Brunel's drawing curves auction for 27,500 at Bonhams

Isambard Kingdom Brunel's drawingcurves were presented in a mahogany case and soldfor 27,500, including hammer,this morning at Bonhams, London.

The114 mahogany drawingcurves were dated circa 1850, with the longest measuring 56cm.

Most were stamped "I.K.B. 18 Duke Street - Westminster" in black ink. The drawing curves showed repeated use with some showing strengthening cards.
