A guestbook from the world famous Manhattan supper club El Morocco is to lead a sale of items belonging to founder John Perona at Doyle New York on September 16.

It's valued at $2,000-3,000.

Marlene Dietrich is among the celebrities who signed the guestbook

Titled the El Morocco Family Album, the book features hundreds of signed photographs of some of the biggest names of the 1930s, including Marlene Dietrich, Gloria Swanson and William K Vanderbilt. 

The club opened as a speakeasy in 1931 and quickly became one of the most exclusive venues in New York.
