A rare 1932 Mickey Mouse Christmas card signed by his creator Walt Disney has sold at auction.
The card features the vintage versions of Mickey and his girlfriend Minnie Mouse, with a handwritten inscription to Chicago native Henry Scherping.
Disney is known to have sent out dozens of these Christmas cards - but this is the first and only one to surface on the collectibles market, according to RR Auction's Bobby Livingston.

What's more, it was written just a month after Disney received his first Oscar in 1932 for his creation of the world's number one celebrity mouse.
Sold at RR Auction, the historic card realised a final hammer price of $13,987.
Last month, Bobby Livingston had an exclusive chat with Paul Fraser Collectibles about the future of autograph collecting, which you can read here.
