Christie's Ski Sale will be held on January 22 in London, offering luxury travel accessories for collectors in the coming season.

The star lot of the sale is a ?�30,000-80,000 ($77,950-124,720) pair of Louis Vuitton monogram canvas desk trunks, which date to the first half of the 20th century.

Representing the finest in luxury travel, a matching Louis Vuitton shoe trunk will follow estimated at ?�30,000-40,000 ($46,770-62,360).

Also offered in the sale are a number of vintage travel posters for ski resorts, with a pair of Carl Moos' St Moritz posters valued at ?�18,000-22,000 each ($28,062-34,298).
