The collection charts "Mr Entertainer's" extraordinary career as a comedian, actor, singer, dancer and author.

Items originate from the couple's residence in Toluca Lake, California and their Palm Springs home that was designed by the noted architect John Lautner.

Highlights of Hope's personal effects include a golf tournament chain, estimated at $1,000-2,000, as well as a series of golfing items, including his personal golf cart.

Career memorabilia includes an array of accolades that Hope was awarded, as well as president-signed items and novelty items from various celebrities.

However, Hope's superb collection of fine furniture will lead the sale, with a George I bureau cabinet expected to sell for $50,000-70,000.

Also included is Hope's personal Yamaha grand piano, which is expected to make $4,000-6,000.
