An American flag flown to the Moon as part of the historic Apollo 11 mission, accompanied by a certificate signed by Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins, is the highlight of a sale of science and space memorabilia at Nate D Sanders that closes on September 26.
The flag is mounted to an official NASA certificate which reads: "This flag travelled to the moon with Apollo 11, the first manned lunar landing, on July 20 1969".
