1923 FA Cup final memorabilia hits sale

A number of items belonging to Bolton Wanderers footballer Jimmy Seddon will appear at Bonham's sale of Sporting and Golf Memorabilia at Chester, on 24th February.

The celebrated 1923 FA Cup final

The memorabilia will include Seddon's 1923 FA Cup winner's medal from the first ever game to be played at Wembley Stadium (estimated at £8,000-10,000).

A 1927 England International cap (estimated at £800-1,000) and a 1928-29 England International cap (estimated at £800-1,000) will also feature among the lots.

Seddon's memorabilia will sell alongside the second medal thrown into the crowds by José Mourinho at the end of the 2005-6 Premier League Season.

Mourinho's medal is predicted to bring £12,000-15,000.
