A Superbritte Belgian 12-bore side-opening over and under gun made £16,000 ($26,049) at Gavin Gardiner's December 11 sale at Sotheby's London.

Around 250 examples were produced prior to 1939 when production ceased, with fewer still displaying the engraved foliate scrollwork present on this example.
A pair of 12-bore Holland & Holland Royal model sidelock ejector guns sold as a single lot, achieving £15,000 ($24,416).
They were manufactured in 1912 and feature acanthus scroll engravings along with gold lined cocking indicators. Both are presented in a brass, oak and leather case.
