Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle $20 coins are some of the most desirable rare coins to collectors and investors there are.
A startling example of this came last month when the annual FUN auction saw the sale of one of these gold coins for a staggering $1.5m.
However, that was a very rare issue (1927-D) and almost the highest known grade for that coin (MS66).
As $1.5m is beyond the means of most people, collectors hoping to have one of the gold coins will be pleased to know that Heritage is holding an online only sale offering a 1913, MS64 coin.
Whilst an estimate isn't given, coins of this date and grade may be expected to sell for $5,000-10,000 (MS65 varieties bring several times as much).
So this is a good opportunity to add a highly collectible coin to someone's collection, making a valuable investment. The sale closes on Sunday February 28.
