Gooding & Co will be hoping to continue the success of its incredible six-World Records scoring Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance auction (see our August report) at its Scottsdale, Arizona, auction on January 21-22.
Collectors are presently invited to consign their rare automobiles. Confirmed lots in the sale so-far include an especially coveted classic by Ferrari: the 1972 365/4 Daytona Spider.
Designed by Pininfarina with coachwork by Scaglietti, the Daytona carries an estimate of $800,000-1,000,000.
Appropriately enough for such a beautiful and alluring piece of car design, Gooding & Co's sale will be held at Scottsdale Fashion Square.

Unsurprisingly, Ferraris were among the World Record sales at Gooding & Co's Pebble Beach event.
Sold for $6m each were the 1959 Ferrari 250 GT LWB California Spider and the 1961 Ferrari 250 GT SWB Berlinetta SEFAC Hot Rod (the latter bringing $6,105,000).
Also auctioned for a World Record price was the 1959 Ferrari 250 GT LWB California Spider Competizione, rolling off the auction block for $7,260,000.
