RM Auction's weren't the only major auction house to grace Monaco's beaches this weekend (you can see RM's results here).
Bonhams' car sale in Monaco also achieved excellent results at its annual sale, Les Grandes Marques á Monaco.
After a day of fierce bidding from within a packed saleroom at the Musée des Voitures du Prince, the total realised came to three million euros with 70% of the lots sold.

In particular, buyers vied for three pre-war cars: a 1938 Welsh rally-winning Jaguar SS 100, which was driven by Mrs Hetherington, sold for €249,500, and an MG J2 sold for €50,600.
Elsewhere, a 1934 Mercedes-Benz 500 Nürburg Cabriolet fetched €240,000.
"It was encouraging to witness growing interest in pre-war cars in this year's Monaco sale, while Lancias are clearly proving ever more popular in the current market," said Philip Kantor, Head of Bonhams' Department Europe.

Two Aurelias and a rare 1968 Lancia Flaminia Super Sport, formerly the property of the renowned British comedy star Rowan Atkinson, all sold for strong prices, according to Kantor.
Meanwhile, an early 1989 Ferrari F40, formerly owned by champion driver Michel Neugarten, which raced in the Italian GT championship and the BPR series, brought €255,000 above its lower estimate of €230,000.
And a beautifully presented former concours winning left hand drive Jaguar XK120 Roadster was sold for €86,250.
