The Vauxhall Astra from Top Gear's Star in a Reasonably Priced Car segment is on sale on eBay.

Bidding on the lot stands at £17,600 ($26,223) ahead of a December 27 close date. The proceeds will go to charity.

The car is the fourth to be used on the show and has been driven by a number of notable people, including Olly Murs and Will Smith.

Clarkson said during his test drive of the car on the show: 'Well here it is slithering about on our track.... everything is absolutely sublime. This car is utterly brilliant.

"It's well made, it's got seating for four it's got a decent-sized boot. In many ways this car is like the perfect dog, it's loyal, it's cute, it doesn't chase sheep and yet, if a burglar comes, it has the power to rip his throat out. Look at me, I'm an attack dog now."
