The beautiful looking machine will head to the auction block with no reserve and should attract plenty of interest among collectors, especially as television star Jay Leno and three-time motorcycle world champion Kenny Roberts, who has taken the bike for a quick spin, will be presiding over the lot.
The proceeds from the sale will go towards funding a school for arts in the Bronx area of New York.
"This is an outstanding addition to what has shaped up to be considered the greatest collection of motorcycles ever offered at auction, and to have both Kenny and Jay involved with helping the charity puts it over the top," Gavin Trippe, from Mecum's motorcycle division, told Motor Cyclist.

A Harley-Davidson motorbike signed by the cast of box office hit Captain America: The First Avenger is currently on auction at eBay.
The 2011 Harley-Davidson V-Rod Muscle VRSCF has been signed by Chris Evans, Samuel L Jackson, Neal McDonough as well as director Joe Johnston.
