The sale is being held by Auctions America, a division of RM Auctions, with highlights including this award-winning 1949 Kaiser Convertible.
According to AA's lot notes, this model is body number 12 of an estimated 30 1949 Kaiser 4-door Convertibles ever built.
It went on to become an Antique Automobile Club of America AACA Senior Grand National and National Award winner and has won several Gold awards and people's choice awards since, including among the Kaiser-Frazer club (Kaiser-Frazer later became Kaiser Motors).

Meanwhile, if it's muscle you're after, other stars of the auction include this green '69 Camaro SS.
The car is reportedly in excellent condition, having been treated to a complete and exacting ground up restoration, including an interior which matches the car's black and white houndstooth trim.
True to form, a factory 396/325hp big block V-8 engine is beneath the bonnet, mated to a Turbo 400 automatic transmission.
Addition features on the green classic include SS equipment, power steering, disc brakes, wheel well mouldings, a trunk light, and bumper guards.
Both the '69 SS and 1949 Kaiser should prove to be real head-turners when they roll into Auctions America's sale next month.

Auctions America has been busily establishing itself as a go-to place to classic American automobiles in recent months.
Stars at the firm's recent September 4 sale in Indiana included a 1936 Auburn 852 Supercharged Boattail Speedster, billed "as an undisputed masterpiece of classic era design."
In the end, the car sold for $396,000. This may sound expensive, but it's actually somewhat of a bargain for this rare car - perhaps due in part to bad wear to its body number, which left its exact digits in some doubt.
