Mecum have announced they are taking consignments for their 2011 Kansas City spring auction. The sale at Bartle Hall on March 11-12 looks set to feature the cream of collectible automobiles, from high-powered muscle machines to elegant classics.
Mecum's two Kansas sales in 2010 certainly saw some fireworks with packed houses and record-breaking prices, and with the collectible car market showing no signs of slowing down the next sale could easily live up to its predecessors.

And back in April collectors were treated to a fine selection of vehicles which featured a stunning 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe with a price of $125,000 and a 1965 Ford Shelby Cobra 427 Roadster which sold for $84,000.
If the previous sales are anything to go by, Kansas should start preparing for an influx of serious collectors and petrol-heads from around the globe.
