This 1969 Yenko 427 Chevelle is described by auctioneer Mecum as "one of the finest, most original examples of the total of 99 built."
A listing in the Yenko.net Supercar Registry supports this motor's provenance and desirability, being an original double COPO (Central Office Production Order) car combining COPO numbers 9562 and 9737.
The former number specifies the car's mighty L72 427/425 HP big block engine and 4-core radiator, supported by 15-inch Rally wheels.

This Yenko is also supported by heavy duty suspension, a special 4.10 12-bolt Positraction rear end, a rare 400 Turbo Hydra-Matic transmission with floor-mounted shifter, dash-mount tachometer and Yenko Stewart-Warner gauges.
Still adorned in its original LeMans Blue paint, White Yenko body graphics, "427" fender badges and Rally wheels, this 1969 Yenko 427 Chevelle remains unrestored.
Showing just 30,087 original miles, this motor is comprehensively documented and widely known in the Yenko community as an excellent example of its kind.
This auto will auction at Mecum in St Charles, Illinois, US on September 15-18 alongside other muscle classics including a 1970 Pontiac GTO Judge.
