Juan Manuel Fangio's car, a rare IKA Torino, will be sold as one of the star lots at the Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show on November 17 through Silverstone Auctions.

The car is being offered without reserve and has been consigned directly from Fangio's family. The sale follows the auction of his Mercedes W196 at Bonhams in July, which set a record for any car at auction at $29.6m.
The IKA Torino was built in Argentina, and with just 1,558 built between 1968 and 1970, is a very rare car. Even fewer are seen in Europe and this, combined with the illustrious provenance, could mean it sells well come sale day.
