Just like one of the relics hunted down by the heroic archaeologist, a Renault Type NN Tourer driven in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade should attract strong competition at Historics at Brooklands on June 7 in the UK.

The car, instantly recognisable to beloved fans of Indiana Jones, features in the thrilling tank chase scene when main villain Donovan rides in pursuit of Jones. It is valued at just £9,000-14,000 ($15,073-23,447), but may exceed that estimate given its Hollywood heritage.

The car was purchased from a French farmer in the 1980s and subsequently beaten and battered as it raced across the desert in the movie. Following the end of filming, it returned to the UK, where it has seen a complete rebuild including a full engine restoration and return to its original yellow colour.
In 2010, the Rolls-Royce featured in the Last Crusade was featured at a UK auction with a top estimate of £48,000 ($80,390).
Paul Fraser Collectibles has a great range of movie memorabilia for sale.
