RM Auctions is gearing up for its annual Vintage Motor Cars of Hershey classic automobiles auction, set to take place on October 7-8.
Boasting a selection of cars that is second-to-none, highlights will include the Gerald Sichel Collection of rare automobiles featuring many extraordinary brass and classic era cars.
Mr Sichel's collection was amassed over a quarter of a century, during which time the collector lovingly chose, acquired and enjoyed some of the world's the rarest automobiles.
The Gerald Sichel Collection comprises classics by Cadillac, Ford and Chevrolet to lesser known marques as Brush, Chase, Jewel and Carter - all of which will be for sale to collectors and investors.
Among them will be the 1909 Stanley Model E Steamer, Chassis Number 284. The Stanley Steamers were among the best known and most popular cars of their era, outselling gasoline-powered cars. It will auction without reserve.
Meanwhile, other highlights at RM's event will include the majestic 1929 Duesenberg Model J Convertible Coupe, boasting coachwork by Murphy.
