Former Manchester United star Ronaldo attracted much media attention when he crashed the $325,000 vehicle near Manchester Airport in 2009. It is now in the hands of a French garage owner, who originally put it up on eBay, where it attracted bids as high as $163,000.
However, it was withdrawn from sale by eBay for "safety reasons", after the auctioneer questioned the authenticity of the sale. Following legal action, eBay has now agreed to re-list the Ferrari and will have to pay damages, reportedly of up to $26,000, to the garage.
No date has yet been given for the sale.
