A one of a kind Aston Martin coupe, once owned by Richard Cowell - then-owner of Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd - is to auction at Sotheby's New York come November 21.
Estimated to be worth $1.5m-2m, the bespoke car boasts a so-called "Supersonic" body - one of a mere 15 in existence.

In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, 85 year old Cowell commented: "It was very fast and well built… I could pick up girls easily."
Having given the coupe to his wife, New York party girl Gail Whitney, the couple divorced in 1959, and the vehicle was sold to US car collector Robert Lee. The car's present owner, James Patterson, possesses a paper trail that leads back to Lee.
On hearing that the car was to be sold at Sotheby's, Cowell told the Wall Street Journal: "My God that's amazing.
"I often wondered what happened to it."
Another impressive Aston Martin is to grace the block at Bonhams on May 8. The DB4GT is expected to see bids in the region of £2.8m-3.8m ($4.2m-5.7m).
