A 2016 Lamborghini Aventador SV roadster led Silverstone Auctions' Salon Prive sale on September 3.
It sold for £577,150 ($767,863).

The Aventador SV was first unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 2015, where it wowed the crowd with its steely, sci-fi looks and its devastating speed and acceleration.
As the auction house puts it: "Looking like a cross between an Apache attack helicopter and something from the Avatar props department, the arrival of the Aventador in 2011 proved that Lamborghini had lost none of their ability to create automotive shock…
"Only 500 examples of the fastest Lamborghini convertible ever built will be produced and will no doubt become legendary, as have previous iterations of the 'Superveloce'."
The car was delivered new to its original owner in Bucharest, Romania just a few months ago and has been driven just 59km since then.
It was one of a cornucopia of cars offered in the auction, which took place at Blenheim Palace.
Others included a 1973 Jaguar E-type that appeared in classic British sitcom Only Fools and Horses.
It made £115,880 ($154,123), beating its £85,000 ($113,095) estimate by 36.3%.
The car belongs to the character of Boycie in the show and can be seen in a 1981 episode titled Go West Young Man.
