A 1990 Porsche type 962 is set to lead Bonhams' Spa Classic auction at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium.
It's valued at $1.6m-2m ahead of the May 24 auction.

The lot has remained in the collection of a single owner since it first rolled off the production line. It was raced extensively during the 1990s and finished 7th overall at Le Mans in 1993.
Bonhams comments: "This Porsche 962 was to be the only car ever to compete at Le Mans in this 'official' 24-Hours livery.
"Having otherwise seen very little strenuous use in its long life beyond its brief - but actually very successful race history - having benefited from continuous maintenance within its caring single private ownership since delivery 25 years ago - the sale of this magnificent Coupe now represents a unique opportunity to acquire not only a Zeltweg-Hinterstoisser (today known as the Osterreichring) -winning Porsche, but also a unique part of Le Mans racing history."
Other lots in the sale include a 1987 Maurer C87 Group C sports prototype, which carries an estimate of $1m-1.3m.
