Fresh from its success at the Pebble Beach auctions, Mecum Auctions hits the ground running in September with more than 1,400 classic cars up for grabs in Dallas - highlighted by an L88 1967 Chevrolet Corvette.

One of just 20 L88 Corvettes made in 1967, the vehicle won the 1967 NHRA A/Sports Nationals at Indianapolis and comes from the collection of Buddy Herin.
Also featuring will be the only Red on Red 1969 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 ever made, as well as one of just three Black on Black 1965 Chevrolet Chevelle Z16s.
The auction runs from September 4 to 7.
