A 1966 Ferrari 275 GTB/6C realised $2.6m at Bonhams' Scottsdale auction in Arizona on January 16.
Featuring coachwork by Scaglietti-Design by Pininfarina, responsible for the look of the enormously successful Testa Rossa, the car is essentially an evolution of Ferrari's classic Berlinetta model.

The example sold features the classic 3,285cc SOHC V12 Engine, which has been augmented with the highly desirable six carburettor induction system - a modification that adds an extra 25 brake horsepower to its output.
A 212 Export Berlinetta and an Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 Supercharged Gran Sport Spider also featured in the sale.
