A 1939 Bugatti Type 57 will sell as part of the Quattroruote Collection at RM Sotheby's.
Bugatti used the car as a showpiece; it was regularly driven by Bugatti's most famous racer, Jean-Pierre Wimille.
It has been painstakingly restored and includes many original features, including its original engine. The auction house describes it as "one of the most historically significant Type 57s offered in recent memory".
No estimate is available for the lot, but it's likely to sell for several million dollars.
A 1937 Bugatti Type 57 sports tourer realised $9.7m at RM Sotheby's Amelia Island sale earlier this year.
