Bonhams will return to its Oxford salerooms with a very special consignment on March 2 - a McLauglin-Buick 496 Tourer that was made especially for the royal tour of Canada in 1927.

The classic car is expecting regal bids, with an estimate of £40,000-45,000 ($63,000-71,000). It is one of just two made for the tour, this being the same that was extensively used by the Prince of Wales (King Edward VIII) and the Duke of York (King George VI).
The 1928 model Tourer has been consigned from a single-owner collection of Buicks, more examples from which will also be seen in the sale.
Paul Fraser Collectibles has a brilliant selection of royal memorabilia for sale.
