is an acclaimed arts and fashion publication |
Since its debut in 1991, the arts and fashion magazine has been issued in a variety of wildly inventive formats.
It typically works with a designer, artist or fashion house for each issue - one features a Louis Vuitton monogrammed leather cover while another incorporates a light box and transparent pages.
Fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld explained the magazine's abiding importance: "Fashions rise and fashions set, but Visionaire continues to shine with its unperturbed new visions, influenced by nobody, influencing them all."
An inscribed copy of Robert Frost's A Boy's Will (1913) is valued at more than $10,000.
It reads: "Robert Frost / October 25 1934 / For Sherrill Bigelow".
Despite being an American, Frost first became successful in the UK. He is considered one of the greatest poets of his generation. He was awarded four Pulitzer Prizes for his work.
