Today is the 70th birthday of professional golfer Jack Nicklaus, considered by many to be the greatest of all time.

In a career spanning a quarter of a century and 100 major championships, Nicklaus won seven major professional titles between 1962 and 1967, and continued to win major titles until 1986.
"It's hard not to play golf that's up to Jack Nicklaus standards when you are Jack Nicklaus," he once said.
Nevertheless, his bold statement is backed-up with a firm dedication, concentration and perseverance - something which the Scotland-based artist, Craig Campbell, draws inspiration from.
Campbell's famous portraits of golfers, including Nicklaus and Tiger Woods, have turned heads at auction for a number of years.
In 2006, a portrait of Nicklaus painted by Campbell brought an impressive £18,000 at Bonhams.
