Signed 'Fab Four' postcard for sale

A Beatles fan club postcard, signed by John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr has come up for sale at Key's auctioneers.

The piece is on offer on January 29, in the same auction as Winston Churchill's half-used cigar.

The 5 ½ x 4 ¼" piece has only been given a guide price of £600-800, but previously pieces signed by all four Beatles have greatly exceeded low estimates.

Beatles fans will be interested to know that two rare Paul McCartney autographs are currently available: a signed lyrics sheet with the words to Lady Madonna and a letter mentioning Beatles songs before they were famous.

Key's sale also offers a collection of seven previously unpublished monochrome hotographs showing the Beatles at Gatwick Airport during the filming of A Hard Days Night (1964) with a guide price of £300.
