A rare signed portrait of Abraham Lincoln - depicting the future US president without his famous beard - has sold for a staggering £104,794.
The photograph sold at the Profiles in History auction house in Hollywood, Los Angeles, US.
The sepia IMAGE_is thought to have been taken in Illinois on 1858 and bears the ink note: "Yours truly, A. Lincoln."
The rare find cropped up in a sale of iconic film memorabilia.
Other big lots included an original TIE Fighter model used in the 1977 Star Wars film which sold for £203,767; and a hoverboard ridden by ridden by Michael J Fox in the 1980s Back to the Future films, which sold for more than £32,000.
